Penobscot Narrows Observatory

Took a trip to Fort Knox and the Penobscot Narrows Observatory. Located on the west bank of the Penobscot River in Prospect, Maine. A one minute ride on the fastest elevator in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont will take you to the top of the tallest public bridge-observatory in the world. The others are in China, Slovakia and Thailand.

Vacation Week at North Twin Lake

We had a pretty good week of vacation at Bruce's camp on North Twin Lake the week of July 21st. The wether was 50 / 50 with some rainy days but we made the most of it.

High School Academic Awards

Taylor and Mom went to the High School Academic Awards today in Walker Auditorium. Our little Taylor received several certificates of awards and made several trips to the stage. Her awards were for Participation in the Eastern Maine Math League, Excellence in Freshman Science, Excellence in French I, and Excellence in English I. Way to go Taylor! (next time bring your camera)

Jordan's Graduation Party

Jordan, our neighbor since we lived here is graduating from high school today. Jordan's Graduation Party proved to be pretty lively particularly in the later innings with Aunt Julie and Kerri providing the entertainment.
