Last Trip To Katahdin Lake

We left the house today and crossed the dam at the foot of Millinocket Lake. We traveled across the backside of the lake and cut up thru Camp Katahdinaki on our way out to the Sandy Road.

A quick stop at Shorty's Camp on Burnt Land Pond. This would be our last visit to this camp as the land was purchased by Roxanne Quimby. From here on thru the pictures below this land would never be accessed again by snowmobiles.

A quick break for a snack on Balm of Gilliard Pond.

We missed out on the sun and the snow was coming off the mountain now.

Our last stop this day on Katahdin Lake was the old Sewall Camp.
